I am a Messy Believer – And the journey continues…
Welcome to the Messy Believer. Life is filled with messiness.
We each get faith right in our own way. Are we perfect? No, but then again, we are in great company.
The Bible is filled with characters who seem to miss the mark quite often. They have fallen asleep, dropped some important tablets, had to start over and had so much doubt they couldn’t see what was happening right in front of them.
We are not perfect and that is why God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ. He came to teach us. He came to show us how we should act around others. That no matter who they are, they are our neighbors, who we should love.
This may be a hard concept to understand. Sometimes you may not get it, that’s okay.
That is why Messy Believer was created. My journey is filled with messiness. I hope that the messiness of my life may fill my spiritual needs. I hope that in this process, you may discover something new and find and fill your spiritual needs.
My hope is that this is a place to share what God has placed upon my heart and mind. I have met some amazing follows through this ministry that have provided me inspiration. I have come to realize that God talks to us through the Spirit and those who he places upon our path. I think of the men on the road to Emmaus.
Our journey of life resembles the road to Emmaus. We are walking, minding our own business, wondering about the events around us. We can be distracted by these events and really not notice the things around us. People can approach us and talk to us and we can interact, but we may not realize it is a Godly moment that is working to guide us and teach us.
Once I realize the God moment like these, my hope is that I may find and develop myself into a deeper relationship with God. I pray that he will continue to live in my heart, mind and soul. I hope that my personal relationship with God grows so that I may live a spiritual life filled with Godly love, grace and mercy.
I hope your journey is similar.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my little corner of life. I hope that you discover a greater spiritual journey as you spend time in reflection and study. I pray that your spiritual needs are met. I hope that no one is trying to jam something down your throat. I pray that you might find encouragement.
